The whole trip cost L65/5/-They paid L7/10/-. so were in debt when they arrived. They disembarked at Port Waikato and sailed up the Waikato River to Hamilton |

Note | Obituary The death occurred in Auckland of Mr F A Hunt at the advanced age of 80 years. Deceased arrived in New Zealand 50 years ago and was for 30 years a resident of Hamilton, being for 25 years engaged as a machinist and runner at the Waikato Argus in which capacity he will be remembered by a large number of settlers between Hamilton and Cambridge. He left Hamilton some years ago and until recently had enjoyed good health. He was a fine stamp of settler and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He is survived by his widow, 9 children, 51 grand-children and 43 great-grandchildren |
