Note | His father was a rector and Leopold was the Black Sheep of the family. He left home and became a portrait painter. He lived a Bohemian lifestyle and was part of the Cafe' Royal Society in Piccadilly, which included Oscar Wilde. Either he cut himsef off from the family or they disowned him. |
