Note | WalterLe Grice died by his own hand, cutting his throat while of unsound mind, leaving Emma with five sons to bring up. The youngest son, Percy was only just two years old. They had a Pork Butchery business in Gorlston which Emma continued to run herself. The reason that Ethel Tolton gave for Walter's depression was that he had kill ed a man with his horse and cart and aithough it was regarded as an accident he felt guilty and it drove him to drink |
