Note | Inhart is the name of a male child given on a Family Tree which was held in the possession of Brian LEGRICE of Sydney Aus. It was prepared in 1950 by his Aunt Alice, who had acquired this information from Eng (Thought to have come through Rev.Frederick LG.) It could mean that INHART was wrongly transcribed fromParish Register, for ROBERT. This is a theory held by Betty Edgell of N.Z. One of the witnesses to this wedding was Ann Hart who could have been his sister. (1996) |

Note | Returning now to the year 1754 when our common ancestor, ROBERT LE GRICE was born. His marriage in the name of ROBERT GRICE to SARAH REYNOLDS (by Banns) took place at East Braddenham in Norfolk on 16 Nov 1784 .The Register states Robert’s place of abode as West Braddenham, but Sarah certainly lived in the Village where they were married. They were married by B Crofts, Curate in the presence of John Wiggett and Ann Hart. There were twelve children of this marriage, the first of whom was born in East Braddenham, the next three were born in West Braddenham, followed by another eight in Little Ellingham also in Norfolk. Robert's occupation was that of farmer. He paid Land Tax at both West and East Braddenham between 1786 and 1792 and then ceased in that area. Each member of this family is numbered 1-12.
