Note | Clerk of the stables to Queen Elizabeth I. MP for Yarmouth. Will PCC Nevell 41 dated 21 May 1593 proved 22 May 1593 Lands in Great Yarmouth Norfolk Represented Yarmouth in the First Parliament called by Elizabeth I for four te rms. In 1576 he was one of the commissioners who made the award that settled te disputes between the town and the Cinq Ports. In 1578, Elizabeth I was to isit, a message from Yarmouth came to him in London instructing him to procure a silver cup in the form of a ship to be presented to Her Majesty, also gunpow der and flags, as well as an interest free loan for L1000 to cover the visit.
