Norwich Consistory Notes 1583-4 p420 Dated 11 Jan 1582, Proved 15 Jan 1582 Robert Le Grys presented John Inman to Billingford Church until 1582 then Robe rt presented John Richards, followed by Thomas Buskard in 1585 In 1587 Nichol as Le Grice, clerk gave it to Edward Calley Plaque in Shimpling Church, but no obvious burial -- On the other side of the plaque is`Thomas Le Grys, Gent, 27 Sept,1692 aged 60' Lord and Patron of St Leonards, Billingford Nth chancel wall
