Note	St Mary's Church, Homersfield was seat of Thomas' parish and he is buried unde r a slate tablet set in the floor of the chancel, which has a shield and long inscription in Latin [Recorded in Memorial Inscriptions section] Rector of Homersfield, Suffolk, also St Georges, Elmham. Curate of Burgh Parva 1686, of Beccles 1693, BA Caius College, Cambridge, 1683-4. B.A. in 1683. He and his wife Sarah are commemorated on a floor slate under the Choir Stalls in St.Marys. This slate was placed by their children, and found by Betty & Ron Edgell when they visited the Church in 1991.
